Birthday Gifts Ideas For One Year Olds

Hey guys,

My little boy recently turned one year old, which I can't believe! I had a lot of fun coming up with his birthday theme and decorating. Unfortunately I didn't get a lot of pictures of the decorations but I was enjoying my time with my son and celebrating him! His theme was "Crayons/Colorful". I chose that theme because my son has given me purpose in life. I'm not saying that I didn't have a purpose before I got pregnant but now I have a more powerful purpose in life, and that's to be the best mom I can be to my son.  He has made my world colorful since finding out that I was pregnant with him. This year, I won't lie, brought some struggles and some frustrations but I just look at him and he makes me smile. I do everything for him. He, of course, had a cake and then his own separate cake which he surely enjoyed that, He needed a bath before he opened his gifts. I decided on just doing snack/candy type foods to make it a lot easier on me because it was just me hosting. I had M&M's, Skittles, Starbursts, Rainbow Goldfish, Gummy Bears, Frooties and Keebler's Rainbow Chips Cookies. For the beverages, I had three different flavors or Hawaiian Punch, Hugs for the kids, and water bottles. 

These are all of the toys he got for his birthday. He also got a lot of cute clothes. I'll list them and if I can find a link, I'll attach it.

What I Got For Christmas/My Birthday From My Boyfriend/ His Family

Hey guys,

I meant to get this post published earlier but then I got hit with a really bad stuffy nose, which hopefully is going away and all I wanted to do was take it easy and sleep. A few days after Christmas, I spent a few days with my boyfriend and his family to celebrate Christmas and also my birthday (the 28th). I wanted to show you guys what I received from them. By all means, I'm not showing off in any ways. I am grateful for everything that I received. If I know where the items are from, I'll mention it.

The boots came from Wal-mart and I'm pretty sure the other items came from Kohls (I remember cutting a Kohls tag off).  The leggings and black jacket were for Christmas and the rest was for my birthday.

Candy, Snacks and Miscellaneous Sayings for Gifts

Earlier this year, I threw a birthday party for my dad and on the snack table I had little sayings by each snack.After posting the pictures on my personal Facebook, I had likes and compliments so I thought I would share my snacks/candies/misc sayings with all of you if you need ideas for birthdays, anniversaries, etc. 

Candy

• Life Savers (Can either do hard or chewy):You have been a "life saver" to me; Thanks for "saving" me.

• Hershey Kisses: I love your "kisses".
• Mints (any brand/flavor): You were "mint" to enter my life. We are "mint" to be.
• Skittles (any flavor): You have brought color into my life.
• Toostie Roll Pops (or a father/grandfather's birthday): Happy birthday, "Pops".
• Gum(any brand/flavor): I "chew" you.
• Pop rocks: You "rock"
• 100 Grand: You're worth more than a grand to me.

• Toostie Rolls: I'm so glad you "rolled" into my life.
• Reese Pieces: I love you to pieces

• Skor candy bar:  I skor'ed when I met you

• Lucky charms: I'm lucky to have you in my life. I'm lucky to have met you.

• Crazy straw: I'm crazy for you.

• Pocket(s) of kool-aid: You're kool.
