I can't believe it's already August. It feels like this year is flying by but also not at the same time. Growing up,  I believe we always started school at the end of August. One of my favorite seasons is fall. Not because of going back to school fully but because all of the new school supplies. I thought it would be fun to create a back to school tag for graduates!

1. What year did you graduate high school? 2009

2. What was your favorite subject? English

3. What was your least favorite subject? Humanities (Math would be a close second)

4. Did you have a favorite teacher? I had a lot of favorite teachers :) 

5. Did you have any teachers that you just disliked? Yes, who didn't?

6. Did you play any sports? Track my junior year 

7. Did you like going back to school? Yes and no. I liked getting new supplies. 

8. Were you ever tardy? Umm... Yes

9. Did you ever get suspended? Not out of school suspension (OSS) but in school suspension (ISS) for being tardy too many times/unexcused absences.

10. Did you go to any dances? Homecoming, like once

11. If you had the chance, would you ever go back to high school? Yes and no

2. Dogs or Cats? I like both but I'm a dog person more

4. Are you in/have you gone to college? I did an online college

7. What are your life goals? To be the best mom I can be and be happy in life.
8. What sports do you play or have you played? I did gymnastics when I was younger and Track/field in my junior yr in high school

10. Who are your favorite YouTubers? I have a lot. Some are: Clancy Burke, HeyKayli,ThatYouTube Family, Meet The Millers, Phillips FamBam,The LeRoys, The Ohana Adventure, The Cort Report, The Cooper Fam.
11. Do you speak any languages and how well? None, except a few words in Spanish
12. Are you single or taken? Single
13. How long was your longest relationship? Almost 3 years
14. How would you describe your fashion sense? Comfortable
15. What is your go to hairstyle? Ponytail or bun
16. How many siblings do you have? 3 brothers 
17. What is your go to fast food order? Most often chicken tenders and fries
18. What is your favorite Netflix show? Fuller House (I haven't seen the recent season tho, not yet)
19. What theme parks have you been to? Michigan Adventures, Disney World and Cedar Point.

21. Do you have any bad habits? Picking at my nails
22. What is your favorite genre of film and why? It depends on the mood I'm in but it's never horror/scary/thriller.
23. Have you ever failed at anything and what did you learn? Algebra 2 in junior year of h.s. I learned that I'm not a math person. Lol
24. What are your pet peeves? When others cough/sneeze with their mouths opened and not against their shoulders.
25. How many countries have you traveled to? 1, Canada

27. What are your favorite values in friends? Honestly, Kindness, Respect, Supportive, Friendliness .
28. What is one thing you wished people knew about you? That even though I can be quiet at times doesn't mean that I don't like you.
29. What social media are you addicted to? To be honest, Facebook and Instagram
30. How well do you get along with your family? Somewhat
31. What is the biggest struggle you overcame? Being bullied in school and Selective Mutism
32. Who is your role model? I'd have to say my dad and one of my brothers.

34. What was your dream job as a kid? I remember teacher, Interior Designer and mom.

Fall Tag 2018

Hey guys,

Wow! I haven't posted a blog post in awhile and I'm kinda disappointed in myself because I wanted to get better at it and post more consistently. I hope everyone is having a good fall so far. I decided to create a "Fall Tag". I hope you enjoy it! 

1. Do you like Pumpkin Spice? No
2. What was your favorite Halloween costume when you were younger? Probably being a baby because the costume was warm and comfortable.
3. Uggs or tennis shoes? Uggs
4. Hoodies or sweaters? Hoodies 
5. Candy Corn- Yum or ew? It's good
6. What's your favorite thing about Halloween? When I was younger- the candy, but now seeing the cute and creative costumes these days.
7. Do you like carving pumpkins? I don't like touching the gooey inside.

9. Have you even been to the pumpkin patch? I think so..when I was younger.
10. Do you wait until the day after Halloween to get candy on sale? Not really, my mom does some years tho and I get some from her.

Summer 2018 Tag

If you're a blogger like me, sometimes you run into writer's block when thinking of a post to publish. A fun way to get my creative mind going is to create tags. Tags can be about anything you want them to be about. Here's my summer 2018 tag.

1. What's your favorite thing to do in the summer? Hanging outside with others if it's not too hot, and swimming.
2. What is your favorite summer beverage? Plain water or Sparking Ice water

4. Do you normally get tanned or sunburned? Sunburned

Get To Know Me Tag

Hey guys,

The 30th of this month is my two year blogversary and I want to make that post really good so today I'm just posting a random get to know me tag so you guys can learn more about me. I found this Get To Know Me Tag on THE LDN DIARIES. The two editors are Paula and Danny. You should definitely go check out their blog. They post about a variety of things along the lines of beauty, fashion, food, lifestyle,travel and they also have a mens section.


1.What is your middle name? Leigh (Pronounced like Lee)

2. Share you favorite subject in high school? English. I was the type of student who loved grammar,but not the essays.

3. What is your favorite drink? I used to say Dr. Pepper but haven't drank pop in so long I can't remember the last time. Right now, its Sparkling Ice Water

4. What is your favorite song at the moment? I have a few. I'll do a separate post on them.

5. What would you (or have you) name your children? I don't have any children yet but there are few names that I do like

6. Have you participated in any sports? Track in my junior year of high school

7. What is your favorite book? "A Child Called It" is a really sad book but I like it and also "Dear John" is a good one. Nicholas Sparks is a good writer.

8. What is your favorite color? In order: Pink, turquoise/teal, Orange, Purple

9. What is your favorite animal? Dogs 

10. What is your favorite perfume? Hmm.. don't have a favorite

11. What is your favorite holiday? Valentine's Day

13. Have you been out of the country? Yes, Canada. Funny story about that.

14. Do you speak any different languages? A little bit of Spanish but only Si, No, Uno, Dos, etc

17. What is your favorite restaurant? It used to be Russ's but now it's Applebee's

Boyfriend Tag

Hey guys,

Since I'll be away from my laptop for a few days, I thought I would type this post out and have it scheduled to publish while I'm away since I won't have my laptop with me.  I hope you enjoy this boyfriend tag!   :)


1.What was your first impression of one another?

Amanda- He was quiet and nervous and I was too. I thought he was sweet because he got me a vase with a dozen pink roses, which is my favorite kind of flower and color.

Jesse- My first impression of Amanda was "Hey, She looks cute. I love her hair and smile, and oh she's got glasses like me. I'm gonna say hi"  :) (He based his first impression of me off seeing my profile for the first time).

2.Who said I love you first? He did.

3. What's your favorite thing about them?

Amanda- How happy he makes me, and that 99% he can make me happy when I'm feeling sad.

Jesse- We have quite a few things in common and text a lot, and chat on FB messenger a lot. ( We do talk a lot- Amanda)

4.When/where did we meet? We technically "met" on October 17th  on Plenty of Fish. We talked for a few weeks and then we actually met in person on November 3rd.

5. When did you meet the others' family?

Amanda- I met his sister, step dad, one of his aunts, his grandma and a cousin and her family the weekend I met him.

Jesse- I haven't yet

6. How long have we been together? We just had our 1 month on the 6th.

7. Who's older? He is (29 and as of yesterday 27)

Christmas Tag

Hey guys,

I thought I would do a Christmas Tag today as Christmas is tomorrow. After searching on Google, I found a Christmas Tag that I liked.  The blog that I located this tag on was Rachel Weiland and the link to her blog is here. You should go check out her blog. She posts about recipes, DIY projects and more. The tag questions are followed:

1. Do you like to stay in your PJ’s, or dress up for Christmas?  The past few years we haven't gone anywhere so I just stay in my pajamas (leggings, yoga pants).

2. If you could only buy one person a present this year, who would it be? My boyfriend because even though we have only been together for a short time, he has made me really happy.

3. Do you open your presents Christmas Eve or Christmas morning? It depends on when my brother and his partner comes over because they have like 4 different places to go on the holidays. This year, I'll open them on Christmas day.

4. Have you ever built a Gingerbread house? Yes, and they never turn out for me.They either look terrible or the walls/roof fall apart as I'm putting it together.

5. What do you like to do on your Christmas break? Well, I don't have Christmas break anymore because I'm out of school but I used to sleep in .

6. What’s your favorite Christmas meal or treat? Hmm.. probably those little peanut butter chocolate things. I forgot what they are called.

7. What’s your favorite holiday movie? Either "The Family Holiday" or "Christmas Shoes".

8. Candy Canes or Gingerbread Men? I'm not a fan of either. I guess I'd go with candy canes but a good flavor unlike Peppermint.

9. Have you ever made a snowman? Yes, who haven't?

10. Which do you like better, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? Hmm.. if I had to choose, I'd say Christmas Day, although it's just not the same anymore honestly (I'm not going to get into why but it's because of some personal family things).

11. White lights, or colored lights? I like colored lights better.

My Random Tag

Hey guys,

This is something that I have wanted to do in awhile and that is to create my own tag questions. I tried to come up with interesting questions, so I hope you enjoy it!

My Random Tag

When you go out to eat, do you prefer a booth or a table? Booth

Do you have any weird habits? I can't take any type of medicine in front of others because I don't like the eyes on me.

Burger King or McDonalds? BK all the way; Chicken Fries and French Fries.

Favorite beverage?  Dr. Pepper! Or Sparkling Ice Flavored Water 

If you could go back to one age, which age would you choose and why? Hmm.. I'm not sure because then I wouldn't have gone through the up's and the down's that have made me grow.

If you were only allowed on one social media, which one would you choose? Facebook!

What did you want to be when you were younger? Have you achieved that? I wanted to be a mom and a teacher. I have yet to achieved being a mom and I'm currently almost done with my bachelor's year for Early Childhood Development. 

What is your favorite chore to do? What about the least? Laundry (the washing part); vacuuming. 

Would you rather shop online or in the actual store? Online

Do you have any allergies? Nope, unless you count being somewhat lactose intolerant. 

In your opinion, what has been your greatest accomplishment? Being myself and making my own path in life. I was told college was pointless but the last time I checked my overall GPA was 3.96!

If you could be on any TV show, what show would it be? Hmm.. this is a hard one. I think Fuller House would be a fun show to be on.

What are your pet peeves? People coughing or sneezing without covering their mouth.

If you could meet any celebrity, who would you choose? Either Carrie Underwood or Martina McBride (my two favorite singers)

The Soundtrack of My Life

Hey guys,

I was tagged by Em from Em Linthorpe and you can check out her blog out here. She tagged me in "The Soundtrack of My Life". Now she did hers in chronological order and I'm going to do mine a little difference as I'm bad at saying which song came before a different song. I'm pretty much going to write about 7 different songs that has affected me in one way or another and how it has played into my life.

1. "From The Bottom of My Broken Heart": Brittney Spears
   The Backstreet Boys, Nsync and Brittney were some of the popular singers when I was growing up and who attained to my age group. Every school year, there was a talent show at the end of the year and I wanted to do this song with a  group of my friends. Thinking about it now, I must have had been feeling really brave at that moment when I decided that idea because I was a shy/quiet student and most likely would have gotten stage fright or declined to go up on stage.

2. " You Should Be Here""Cole Swindell 
 This is a song that reminds me of all of my friends who has passed away too soon. They all were very talented and never got the chance to show their talent more. R.I.P Carly, R.I.P Scott and R.I.P Branden.

3. "My Little Girl": Tim McGraw
 I'm my dad's only daughter so whenever the day I get married come, the father/daughter dance is going to be very special. We had a list of songs and I told him that the song choice would be his, and he chose this song very quickly. 

4. "This Is My Now": Jordin Sparks
This is my now to achieve my goals and do what I love to do. Nothing is going to happen if I don't at least try  :) 

5. "Heaven Needed Another Angel": Jo Dee Messina
This is a song that always remind me of a former teacher of mine who passed away too soon at a young age. She made such a huge impact on my life and influence me greatly. I know she's looking down on me and is proud of me. R.I.P Abbey.

6. "Road Less Traveled": Lauren Alaina
This song reminds me that I have my own dreams and goals and I don't have to follow other people even though they might be doing the popular thing. I'm making my own road and doing things my own way.

7. "Do I Make You Proud": Taylor Hicks
 This is one of my biggest goals in life to make my family,friends and former teachers/educators proud of me. This song could also be applied to my readers.

Learn More About Me/ 25 Questions Tag
